Power Platform comprises of four key artifacts: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Power Virtual Agents
Power Apps:
Power Apps is a collection or package of apps, services, connectors and data platform that provides application development environment to build a custom apps for business.
A developer can make use of power Apps to build a custom apps for business as per the needs and store data either in underlying data platform or in various online or on-premises data sources (SharePoint, Excel, O365, Dynamics 365, SQL Server and so on.
PowerApps also provide workflow capabilities to transform manual business process to automated processs. It runs seamlessly in browser or mobile devices (phone or tablet). It also allows developers to interact with data and metadata, apply custom business logic nad integrate with external data
Power Automate:
Power Automate allows users, developers to create automated workflows between applications and services. It helps automate repetitive business processes such as communication, data collection and decision approvals.
It has a simple interace which allows users to automate work tasks from beginners to seasoned developer.
Power BI:
It is business intelligence. It is an analytical service that delivers insights for analysing data. These insights can be represented using data visualisation which make up reports and dashboards to enable fast, informed decisions. Power BI allows to display business data with more visualsation which helps business users to easily understand the business data and ups and downs in business.
Power Virtual Agents:
It enables any level uers to create powerful chatbot using a guided, no code graphical interface, without the need for data scientists or developers. PVA addresses many of the major issues with chatbot building. It eliminates the gap between subject matter experts and the development teams building the chatbots. It removes the complexity of exposing teams to the nuances of conversational AI and the need to write complex code.
